I graduated from a small private school with poor focus in engineering, math, and the science. The school’s emphasis was in writing and literature, which left me with little-to-no experience in engineering.
I began taking my first engineering classes ever. They nearly killed me! I was not sure if I was cut out but after three or four weeks, I made the adjustments and figured out what I was doing.
I completed my studies at CSM with Associates. I was ready to move onto the bigger step, University of Maryland. After having a scary beginning, I finished with a 4.0 GPA and multiply scholarships from being a scholarly student athlete finishing my sophomore year for less than $500 for the year’s tuition.
I began studying engineering beside some of the best engineering students in the nation. Everyday poses new challenges. Not only was the coursework difficult , but there was also a lot of it.
